Alien oceans could be detected by telescopes

Scientists are hopeful that a space telescope to be launched in 2014 will be able to see oceans on other planets.
Considered to be the holy grail of exoplanets due to the possibility of life on such a world the telescope could potentially spot a planet around a distant star with an ocean by looking for the 'glint' of the light reflecting from its surface.
The next generation of telescopes could reveal the presence of oceans on planets outside our Solar System. Detecting water on Earth-like planets offers the tantalising prospect they could sustain life. Scientists hope the reflection of light, or "glint", from mirror-like ocean surfaces could be picked up by a US space telescope set for launch in 2014.

sounds good to me. what i would like to see if its possible is maybe numerous telescopes in space like hubble but which are linked together so we can see a HD image - real close up detail of far off worlds. something that we can all be excited by. a real blow ya socks off moment.
