Artist Sally Davies has discovered what happens when you leave a Happy Meal out for six months.
The answer - nothing at all apparantly. Davies has left a meal consisting of a McDonald's burger and fries out on a plate in her appartment for the last six months and rather than being decayed and covered in mould the food looks completely fresh.
Looking almost as fresh as the day it was bought, this McDonald's Happy Meal is in fact a staggering six months old. Photographed every day for the past half a year by Manhattan artist Sally Davies the kids meal of fries and burger is without a hint of mould or decay.

In a previous experiment (it was posted here a while ago) the Burger King meal (may have been McD-s) was compared with a home made burger. Because the home made burger contained such things as nutrituional value, the home made burger and fries perished in short time as the bacteria were able to break down the carbohydrates vitamins, proteins etc . The fast food burger lasted about 4 times longer, but the fries just never deteriorated at all in 3 months. Probably because they had absolutely zero nutritional value. If your body cant break out the constituents components then it is useless as foo... [More]

Why McDonald's Happy Meal hamburgers won't decompose - the real story behind the story. The funny thing about this is that the natural health industry already covered this topic years ago. Remember Len Foley's Bionic Burger video? It was posted in 2007 and eventually racked up a whopping 2 million views on YouTube. And this video shows a guy who bought his McDonald's hamburgers in 1989 -- burgers that still haven't decomposed in over two decades! Now, he has an entire museum of non-decomposed burgers in his basement. Did the mainstream media pick up on this story? Nope. Not a word. The story w... [More]

Yup its not real. If you take a good look at the photos again, there are too many small changes. For one the fires, in pic 1 from 2 there are fries missing and not even in the same position as pic 1. Pic 1 and 2 the Top part of the bun has been moved. Pic 2 the bun has a crack near the top. In pic 3 it is gone but there is some degradation in 2 places then in pic 4 there gone. Just an observation

Yep, the pics are real.... Notice a crucial detail about a lot of the burger pics... It's only burger and bread... No cheese, lettuce, special sauces, onions, pickles.. none of the wet stuff that would help promote the decomposition. So the meat and bun dry out rather than rot. Same goes for the fries... they are not very wet to begin with, and tend to dry out rather than rot. It all depends on the environment they are sitting out in. All the preservatives and crap do really help protect the bread, burger patty and fries against rotting too
