"Malnourished monkey" mistaken for alien

A monkey created quite a stir in one Chinese province when it was mistaken for an alien creature.
Housewife Mao Xiping first encountered the monkey when she found it stealing cucumbers from her flat, she noted that it had an "alien face" and showed it to her neighbours who agreed that they'd never seen anything like it.Locals panicked when Mao Xiping, a housewife from the village of Gezhai, in Henan province, central China, found the scraggy simian stealing cucumbers from her flat.
