'Lost Gospel' claims Jesus was married

An ancient manuscript discovered at the British Library suggests that Jesus was married and had children.
Originally written in Aramaic, the controversial 'Lost Gospel' is believed to date back over 1,500 years.

Translating the ancient text took months, however experts now believe that it references the fact that Jesus was married and that the original Virgin Mary was actually his wife, not his mother.
It is also thought to state that the couple had two children.

This isn't the first time that Mary Magdalene has featured heavily in alternative Biblical history. For many years there have been theories suggesting that Magdalene was in fact the fabled Holy Grail, a concept that has also been popularized by Dan Brown's book The Da Vinci Code.

Further details contained within the pages of the newly discovered manuscript, including the possible names of Jesus' children, are set to be revealed on Wednesday.

First, did this part of the article confuse anyone else? "Jesus was married and that the original Virgin Mary was actually his wife, not his mother. It is also thought to state that the couple had two children. This isn't the first time that Mary Magdalene has featured heavily in alternative Biblical history." I mean, does the other know that the virgin Mary's last name was not Magdalene? Two different people. And Jesus was not a carpenter. It's another common mistake. He was the son of a builder who more likely used stone. He was a main. So he was also not poor. How do you think a poor family... [More]

Correction: he was a Mason. Not a main. And I was asking if the author knew

No one will ever know the truth of Jesus. History and our ancestors have utterly destroyed his legacy. We are left with evidence that has been tampered with for centuries by people looking to further their own agendas.

Its a given that the prophet Yesuah was married. If he wasn't then he was not a Jew.

Its a given that the prophet Yesuah was married. If he wasn't then he was not a Jew. Divinity isn't second to Moses nor religion/Judaism,i.e. the Advent of Christ heralded the New Covenant, ushered in the eschatological Messianic Age in Hebrew Scriptures, the Book of Jeremiah.

The fabrication should stay lost. That we are all naked before God doesn't mean that Jesus wants to boink babes. What is being lost here is the fact that the adultery of a woman then could get her stoned to death sooner than a lecher, murderer, rapist or thief. To challenge the double-standard was so unheard of as to risk being mobbed in return. Hence, that Mary Magdelene was so deeply moved by Christ's altruism is only incomprehensible to those whom have a propensity for profaning the sacred. Nevertheless, the now saint and I thank God every man is neither ruled by selfishness nor, consequent... [More]

Because things were EDIT out of the bible because satan and king james didn't like the truth that was in the REAL bible...if there was a bible at all. king james had the bible written. but, it was written by catholic monks. they were the only ones who could do the translation.

Trouble is, with history, it is only as accurate as the author writes, and what is allowed to survive. Add a few translations, some assumptions and interpretations and good politics and what do you have?
