Orangutan laughs hysterically at magic trick

The orangutan was highly amused by the trick. Image Credit: YouTube / Dan Zaleski The heart-warming spectacle occurred when Dan Zaleski from Meriden, Connecticut performed an impromptu magic trick in front of an easily-amused orangutan at a zoo in Barcelona.

The trick involved placing a chestnut in to a styrofoam cup, shaking it, then revealing to the unconventional audience member that the object had mysteriously disappeared.

The orangutan reacted to the trick by bursting in to a fit of hysterics which saw the primate literally rolling around on the floor laughing as Zaleski and the other zoo visitors looked on in amusement.

The video, which has clocked up over 5.8 million hits on YouTube, can be viewed below.
