Woman murdered during murder mystery show

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) Passengers who had been enjoying a murder mystery theater show aboard the Emerald Princess last week were shocked to discover that there had actually been a real-life murder taking place on the vessel at exactly the same time.

So convincing was the performance in fact that announcements requesting assistance from emergency medical and security teams had been initially dismissed as part of the show.Sadly however, it turned out that Kristy Manzanares had lost her life that night at the hands of her husband, Kenneth Manzanares, following what was described as a "domestic dispute".

"Because they were doing a murder mystery theater about death on a cruise ship, most people thought it was just part of the dramatic effect of what they were doing," said passenger Vic Simpson.

The murder victim's husband, who later claimed that he killed his wife because she 'wouldn't stop laughing at him', is now facing life imprisonment.
