A recent analysis of Hitler's teeth has confirmed once and for all that he did not fake his own death.
According to official reports, Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and his wife Eva Braun both committed suicide in Hitler's bunker in 1945 to prevent capture as Soviet forces descended upon the capital.

Since then, a growing number of conspiracy theorists have speculated that Hitler had actually faked his own death and had gone on to live out the rest of his days in South America alongside several other high-ranking Nazis who were known to have fled there at the end of the war.

Now though, a team of pathologists from France believe that they have finally put the matter to rest following the analysis of a set of teeth and skull fragments that had been kept in Moscow after being recovered from Berlin by the Soviets back in 1945.
It is the first time that Russian authorities have allowed such an examination in over 70 years.

The results of the analysis, which compared the teeth with Hitler's dental records, indicate that the remains are absolutely genuine, meaning that the Fuhrer really did die at the end of the war.

"The teeth are authentic - there is no possible doubt," said lead pathologist Philippe Charlier.

"We can stop all the conspiracy theories about Hitler. He did not flee to Argentina in a submarine; he is not in a hidden base in Antarctica or on the dark side of the moon."
