Viral 'goat monster' is a genuine species

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) With its disproportionately-shaped head and strange facial features, it's easy to imagine how this peculiar four-legged beast could be mistaken for something out of a horror movie.

As it happens however, it is in fact a real goat and this really is its normal appearance.

Known as the Damascus goat, this unusual species has been bred for its milk in the Middle-East for thousands of years.

Incredibly, in 2008, a goat named Qahr won the "Most Beautiful Goat" prize in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
