SpotMini robot busts a move to Uptown Funk

SpotMini certainly has the moves. Image Credit: YouTube / Boston Dynamics
Boston Dynamics' increasingly sophisticated canine contraption has now learned how to dance.
As if picking things up, climbing up stairs and opening doors weren't enough - the eerily life-like quadrupedal creation has now seemingly mastered the art of dancing as well.

In this latest promotional video, SpotMini can be seen strutting its stuff to Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's 2014 hit song Uptown Funk.

Its move-set includes strutting on the spot, swaying from side to side and even twerking.

The footage, which quickly went viral upon being uploaded, has already been viewed 4.3 million times.

Cute and creepy all at the same time. Impressive moves though.

Now, will it still be able to dance if you put it on a slightly non-level surface?

That is a funny video. But, is it actually responding to the music in real time, or has it been cleverly/cutely programmed?
