Officers in Klamath County, Oregon recently responded to what turned out to be a rather strange 911 call.
The peculiar incident began late on Wednesday evening when Klamath County 911 dispatch received an emergency call from a man who claimed that someone was trying to kill him with an axe.

According to Klamath County Deputy District Attorney Cole Chase, the individual in question provided very little information about what was happening and was "threatening, rude and abusive".

Officers raced to the scene, however when they got there they found no sign of an attacker. When queried about what had happened, the man claimed that it was Bigfoot who had attacked him.
"The defendant Mr. Drennen was combative, made some threats, but ultimately was taken into custody without any physical incident," said Chase.

"Upon a subsequent investigation, there were no signs that Sasquatch was present."

The man ended up being charged with initiating a false report and misusing the emergency number.

Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) have been stealing axes from woodmen now for some time. They're not buying them in the stores. So why didn't the cops investigate this a little more thoroughly? They could have set up microphones to listen for these hairy axemen and then use drones and dogs to track them down. Come to think of it, why does a Bigfoot need an axe? Is it to protect themselves from the human looney fringe elements? It's obvious I haven't got much to do right now!

Chances are he will not remember it when he wakes up the next day after a night in the cells, so yeah, least likely to be believed is pretty spot on.

Yeah but Bigfoot has to live with the stigma of being an ax murderer for the rest of his life.

So the lesson of the story is: "Never mention a sasquatch to police.  Tell them that some sort of tall perverted furry in an ape costume is attacking you with an axe instead."

Yep, sounds like alcohol was involved. But there was a Guy a few months back that wrecked His truck and blamed it on a big foot. Apparently He wasn't drunk. So who knows?

I wonder if this incident will be recorded as a bigfoot sighting in the BFRO database. A bigfoot using an axe would actually lessen the likelihood of it being real.  If they use tools, we would have come across many of them throughout the years.

I'm more inclined to believe the fable of the Honest Woodman.
