Congress approves measures to share UFO data

The amendment could help to establish a new UFO reporting system with 'immediate' information sharing.
The vote, which took place in the House on Wednesday, saw the successful adoption of a bipartisan amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act which could eventually lead to the creation of a secure database of UFO sightings accessible by scientists, analysts and government personnel.

Efforts have been underway in recent months to make the process of reporting and accessing data on UFO sightings easier and more transparent - especially for pilots and military personnel who have historically struggled to report such encounters for fear of ridicule.
The proposed new UFO reporting system would aim to enable "immediate sharing" of such data.

There was one caveat, however, in that data pertaining to restricted military or government projects would most likely remain classified and would not be made available for access.

As things stand, the amendment seems to have passed with little opposition, however whether or not the proposed system will actually be put into practice remains to be seen.

I have had a question and will go ahead and ask it, Your avatar shows part of a painting, in your opinion what does it depict?

Like natural phenomena. You have not answered the question. You are seeking to obfuscate it.  Pretty much.  What was it's trajectory? How often wsfbit actually visible? You most certainly have not.  You have insisted that UFOs from space escape detection. Unevidenced.  That's just what you want to believe. And it's contradictory. We can capture plenty UFO trajectories just fine within the atmosphere but it as soon as they decide to enter or leave it they escape detection. Pull the other leg.  Around eight minutes. In a blazing trail. Now to inject a thought process.  There are allegedly ... [More]

Like natural phenomena. I was a child in the 70s on the porch with my granny one time just after dark, i saw a weird shade of green dot flying thru the ski over the neighbor's house i was both scared and curious. The light was fairly bright and did fade and or pop on and off as i got more upset my grandmother laughed and said thats a lightning bug ( firefly ).

I explained that the answer to the question cannot be answered because the make-believe radar firmament that you believe surrounds our planet doesn't exist. I just flipped a coin. Tell me, is it head or tails? I demand that you answer this question!!!! "wsfbit"? Is that like an eighth of a wsfbyte? NO I DID NOT. I have insisted that craft could travel to and from Earth without being detected. You insistrf that every object leaving our atmosphere will be detected by a fanciful radar system that covers all continents and oceans and you have no evidence that it exists. You also showed that you do... [More]

It is one of the many silly things in the book "Chariots of the Gods?".

I asked had it ever been accomplished. It's a yes or no answer. Heads. Yes.  Can't be bothered explaining typos to you. If you don't recognise one, you really shouldn't be in this discussion. I have said several times now that there are too many reports for that to be viable.  I don't know how, but you hold onto that if you feel better.  Yes genius  They are powered by the same rockets meteors are............ You really aren't qualified to be having this discussion.  Very little does get past Jupiter now as I illustrated.  It's happened. More than once. There are actual examples. You kno... [More]

As I said, I don't have access to that information. Are you ever right about anything? Reports? Viable, as is "alive"? I'm talking about objects going straight up and directly enter outer space and you keep talking about objects that end up in a fixed orbit around the Earth. Are you telling me that you cannot tell the difference between these two classes of objects? I'm talking about objects that go up. Meteors are object that go down. And I'm the one not qualified to talk about this? Do you still believe that the Earth is a tiny little place protected by your make-believe global radar and ama... [More]

So too gutless to admit no.  Gotcha Yep most stuff. It was heads.  Surely you don't consider yourself a thinker? You're not. You're a ranter. No viable as per statistics. Thousands of reports. Thousands of observer's Not one record of a UFO entering or leaving the atmosphere.  Instances are reported too often for there to be no connection to space  Then you a complete arrogant nutcase.  That wasn't the discussion. How the hell do you get leaving and entering the atmosphere mixed up? Re entry is one way.  Of course I am adorable. I'm a Aussie, mostly we are awesome all round. I have to sa... [More]

You certainly jump to false conclusions. For example: No. There was no coin. It sure doesn't take much to trick you. I've been getting paid to think for thirty years. What have you been doing? Also no record of life existing on Mars so you conclude there has never been life there. Exactly my question to you! Meteors enter the atmosphere and I'm talking about objects that leave the atmosphere. You said they're the same thing. SWOOSH!  That was the sound of the point going over your head. You are now claiming, for some reason, that all objects leaving the atmosphere during the day must travel i... [More]

That's a not a false conclusion. You are unwilling to answer a basic yes it no answer.  Can't do it because you don't have the guts to admit to it. You think everyone can't see that much?  Trick?  You just exposed yourself as a liar  You got tricked dopey. And you didn't see it coming.  Not getting ripped of by you claiming to be thinking when clearly, that's beyond your scope?  You owe someone thirty years of wages IMHO.  Yes you could, but it wouldn't be confirmed either way for making decades.  The old dummies adage of lack of evidence doesn't mean no evidence?  Because that's what...
