UFO captured on camera during private flight over Colombia

What exactly is this thing ? Image Credit: Instagram / Valentina Rueda Velez The clip, which has been doing the rounds on social media and various news outlets this week, was filmed from the window of a private plane on April 4th during a flight somewhere over Colombia.

In the video, a strange object can be seen hurtling towards the plane from some clouds up ahead before passing the aircraft on the left-hand side.

A close-up shows the 'UFO' to be a metallic object, almost like a curved sheet of metal with no discernible features indicative of propulsion and no similarity to any known type of aircraft."When you fly and see and [sic] alien," Velez wrote in the caption.

As things stand, the nature of the object remains unclear. It is possible that it is a piece of debris from something, or perhaps a sheet of some lightweight metallic material caught by the wind.

There's also the chance that it could be a hoax created using computer imagery.
