A recent lake monster sighting saw a stunned witness record footage of something moving across the water.
The mysterious encounter was reported recently by Alison Tinck who had been walking along the Okanagan Rail Trail when she spotted something in Kalamalka Lake, British Columbia.
"I don't know what happened, it just sort of came into my realization that there was something out there," she said. "And so I opened up my camera and I started filming it."
"It went for about 42 seconds and then it disappeared."
Sure enough, the footage shows some sort of black shape moving across the lake, although it's very difficult to determine exactly what it could have been.
While there have been sightings in Kalamalka Lake, it is not nearly as well known for its monster legend as Okanagan Lake (home to Ogogopogo) or Scotland's Loch Ness.
