Jaime Rodriguez recently sparked debate online after sharing a series of clips of the phenomenon.
The former governor of Nuevo Leon, Rodriguez had become aware that mysterious orb-like lights had been seen on multiple occassions moving around on the hills surrounding his ranch at night.
In a social media post, he shared a compilation of video clips clearly showing the orange orbs hovering and moving slowly around on the hillside.
The footage is intriguing because it shows the same phenomenon from multiple angles and the orbs seem to be genuinely emitting light, as they can be seen illuminating the terrain around them.
"What do you do in these cases? Does anyone know about these matters? It's very close to the ranch in Icamole," Rodriguez wrote.
The mystery gained further attention when controversial UFO researcher Jaime Maussan shared the clips on X, while asking his own followers to comment on them.
As things stand, no conclusive explanation for the orbs has been forthcoming.
What could they be ? Are they a genuine phenomenon or an elaborate hoax ?
Had to use Wikipedia to remember, and still vaguely. I remember the early 2000's geoglyph hype much better, I bet some weirdos still see them everywhere.
They’re still referenced every so often when it comes to older stuff, but I don’t think this new generation of woo-enthusiasts has caught on to them yet.
As soon as I see Jaime Maussan, my mind has been made up. Pho-knee! The vid where the orb falls to the ground and sorta 'melts' into the ground is fake. Towards the end of that clip, the orb resurrects itself and yet the cameraman stopped the camera. I suspect it's because they already got what they came for.   Â
