New quantum teleportation scheme proposed

Up until now quantum teleportation has mainly involved the transfer of the quantum state from one particle to another, but now physicists are proposing a new type of teleportation in which an entire light beam will be moved from one place to another.

"Usually when physicists talk about quantum teleportation, they're referring to the transfer of quantum states from one particle to another without a physical link."
