Turning wood in to bone

Scientists have developed a new method with which to turn a certain type of wood in to bone that is nearly identical to that in humans.
The new artificial bone is so similar to real bone that when joined they will eventually fuse together to form one continuous bone, it is the closest scientists have ever come to replicating human bone.
A novel - and natural - way of creating new bones for humans could be just a few years away. Scientists in Italy have developed a way of turning rattan wood into bone that is almost identical to the human tissue.

As a matter of fact, the Grand Canyon was formed from me headbutting it. Not through slow erosion, no no.

Pretty hard. As a matter of fact, the Grand Canyon was formed from me headbutting it. Not through slow erosion, no no. ohh so THATS how it happened... i was under the impression that some nameless god-being must have made it. erosion..? whats that? your head must be at least half as hard as mine, i tripped on a stray bannana peel and hit my head on a rock this one time... i stood up and saw a big plume of ash. then a bunch of naked islanders running around screaming something about crack in their toes. what a strange day that was...
