CDC has a plan for zombie apocalypse

Its the subject of many movies and books, but what would happen in a real zombie apocalypse ?
The CDC ( Centers for Disease Control ) would treat the incident like any other outbreak of an infectious disease. Research, testing and infection control would be enacted to determine the cause of the disease, how it spreads and how it can be controlled.
If zombies did start roaming the streets, CDC would conduct an investigation much like any other disease outbreak. CDC would provide technical assistance to cities, states, or international partners dealing with a zombie infestation.

that's a terrible plan, i doubt the CDC is taking the possibliity of a zombie attack seriously

i went to walmart and they were all out of zombie survival kits.i guess i'll just have to make up one on my own,like a 12 gauge street sweeper shotgun,a good sharp machete and a box of twinkies.

The simple answer is that wherever the population goes, the infection will go. So, if there's a seemingly uninfected area and people flock there, the infection wouldn't be far behind. L4D2 for me, nothing quite as relaxing as a shotgun a billion zombies!

This can't be real Why not? Does it scare (well, more worry) you that an important goverment group is coming up with a plan like this? You do understand that coming up with a plan to survive against a zombie outbreak will actually increase your odds of survival? For example: a natural disaster, or a war (whether be civil/revolutionary or an invasion), or even an alien attack (put that in for humor, don't be scared).
