A number of unusual cave paintings dating back 10,000 years have been discovered in Chhattisgarh.
The rock paintings, which were found on the walls of caves underneath the villages of Chandeli and Gotitola in India, appear to depict strange figures wearing spacesuits and objects in the sky that resemble traditional depictions of UFOs in modern culture.

According to the local villagers there are legends in the region about the "rohela people", small beings who came down from the heavens in round ships and took people away.

"The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers," said archaeologist JR Bhagat.

"Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn't have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject."

Detailed photographs of the paintings can be viewed - here.

This is a very interesting article. I've just seen the images but not read the article itself yet, but looks like paintings from possible encounters?

Seriously I just can't understand how this isn't fact other than we've been manipulated or 80% of our race are RETARDS! People watch Keeping Up with the Kardassians, and think that Wrestling is real, you do the "math".

To be fair there is a math that does work, but,it is,not of this world. It was given in a metaphysical language that has not been spoken since Osiris last spew his seed on the earth after blowing his load building the pyramids. . jmccr8

So... If there is no question to whether or not they exist why is there even a debate that they visited Earth? Every single religion since the dawn of man has said our creators came from the heavens, the sky, the stars... Our religions are our oldest histories before the written word took place only 5500 years ago roughly. Yet we have been around a lot longer than only when our histories start. Again, if anyone seriously doubts that they were and are here all you need to do is open your damn eyes... If there were no such things as aliens ever being here or existing in the first place there wou... [More]

there is a vast gulf between "aliens exist" and "aliens have visited us on Earth". There are what ... 100,000 members to this place? There is exactly ONE person to my knowledge here who says "aliens don't exist". There is also a vast gulf between "Here's some rock paintings" and "It's either aliens, or it's ALL MADE UP!!!" Come to think of it, it's a damn vast gulf between "It's aliens" and,"It's ALL MADE UP!!!" A double gulf with an "and" in the middle. IMO, the truth lies in that second gulf. Harte

The paintings are too bright for 10,000 year old paintings and look like a recent art work. It is a pretty bad hoax.

The paintings are too bright for 10,000 year old paintings and look like a recent art work. It is a pretty bad hoax. as I said, it's entirely possibly they're part of a "living history" like the Indigenous people of Australia have, where it's one of the sacred duties of the Elders to maintain the artwork - and there's art here that's older then that found in India that looks as good as new because of that sacred duty.

And Sir ought to know. He has hats older than those paintings. Harte

And Sir ought to know. He has hats older than those paintings. Harte My students are astounded that my hat (a battered, stained and actively holey Akubra) is older then them. My leather satchel (whose days are numbered) is actually older then many of them put together.
