Researchers develop intelligent rubbish bin

The device called DustCart is able to navigate around the streets and pick up people's rubbish on demand.
It might seem like something out of a 1960s, Jetsons-style vision of the future. But this handy little robot could end the row over fortnightly bin collections once and for all.

Is it April 1st, that will never work. The robotic road sweeper isnt a bad idea though.

AH Man! Now even the trash cans will be demanding rights? No more leaving the trash in the can overnight. The can will go to your room and dump it on you while telling you it only works from 8 to 4.

I want one that does laundry and dishes. Vacuuming would be a plus, but I won't hold my breath.
