I wasn´t suggestign that people develop abilities based on the calendar but rather the calendar which becomes internalized at a very early age will have an impact on how we view the past and future. A change in the calendar would make a difference if it was done in your lifetime but if you were born, lived and died with a 14 day week there would be no change in the psychological experience. I was working in manufacturing and yes the pay was good but on the 14th day most of the time I just wanted to sleep. I think we may have to agree to disagree on this one. My belief is that our calendar becomes so internalized in our unconscious that it impacts us on ways we´ll never really know or realize and through this colours the way we see life and experience it.

The Mayan calendar, like all calendars do not predict anything, they just mark the passage of a certain amount of time. The Mayans never predicted anything for 2012.
