Harry Reid advocates for further UFO research

The retired Nevada Democrat believes that pilots should be able to report UFO sightings without fear of ridicule.
Reid, who has previously spoken out about the Pentagon's secretive $22M UFO program, remains committed to the notion that unidentified arial phenomena should be taken more seriously.

"I personally don't know if there exists little green men other places, I kind of doubt that, but I do believe that the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study," he said.

"We have hundreds and hundreds of people that have seen the same thing - something in the sky, it moves a certain way."

During a KNPR interview on Thursday, Reid spoke about his efforts to make it easier for military pilots and other servicemen to report sightings of UFOs without fear of ridicule or retribution.
"What we found in the past is that these pilots, when they see something strange like this, they're prone not to report it for fear that the bosses will think something's wrong with them, and they don't get the promotion," he said.

"So, many, many times they don't say a word to anybody about these strange things."

"The facts are, they need a place to be able to report this, and that's what I'm going to work on in a couple of hours, to make sure that somebody I think's a powerful member in Congress, I want him to be able to sit down and talk to some of these pilots who have seen these things."

"I can arrange this because of the contacts I have with members of the Congress."

The alternative is,,  the pieces served a purpose as they were shaped when found.

what purpose would that be do you think?

no idea about the pieces necessary to construct a flying machine from elsewhere.  Dumb question, Dejarma

well of course you don't.. you asked: 'who said it was broke?" i say it was nothing more than tin foil= now what?
Comment icon #33 Posted by Earl.Of.Trumps 5 years ago
No no no  no,,,, here's what you said, my emphasis. Dejarma said:  "are you referring to the tinfoil type material that couldn't be drilled, burnt or even creased yet somehow managed to brake into small pieces on impact?" And I said, and *rightfully* so,  "who said it broke into small pieces"? So, who did?  I never saw it.

72 years since "Roswell". Uncounted "reports" of UFOs by "trustworthy persons" like police officers, pilots blahblahblah. 100ks of "testimonials"., thousands of images of "real UFOs", thousands of videos of "real UFOs". Hell, the alienz seem to cause more air traffic than the whole UPS freighter A/C fleet. But, until today: not-one-single-sharp-image-of-an-alien-spacecraft. Blobs only. Yeah, damn electro-fog. Or, damn empiricism.

True, @toast.  But you still keep peeking into UFO threads. Amazing pain threshold you have

If people are talking about the Roswell debris, the claims of the properties of the metal were made by a person that never saw the material. If people are talking about the material Bigelow claims to have then no one has seen the material. The story appears to be a hoax.
