Something strange was moving near the surface of Scotland's iconic loch during this year's 5th official Nessie sighting.
The Loch Ness Monster has certainly been busy this year - that is, at least, according to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register which recorded its 5th sighting of 2022 on August 27th.
According to the report, it was spotted by a resident of Lochend who managed to record footage of a strange, unexplained wake moving through the water.
"A local resident was on the hill above Lochend when they saw a wake moving against prevailing currents from Lochend in the direction of Drumnadrochit," the report states.
"There was no visible cause of wake. The sighting lasted seven minutes."

Exactly what was responsible for creating the wake, however, remains unclear.
Could there have been a swimmer in the water, or perhaps an animal such as a deer ? Or is this genuine evidence of something large and unexplained lurking in the depths ?

Im not ruling out large eels for some lake monster sightings but i am pretty good thinking nessie is a wells catfish or rather has been more than one of them, heck even a professinal nessie hunter believer thinks that too.
