New US bill aims to force full UFO disclosure within 270 days

Rep. Tim Burchett is introducing a new bill designed to force the US government to release all of its UFO files.
Things could soon get very interesting for UFO disclosure advocates - that is, at least, if a new congressional bill introduced by Rep. Tim Burchett this week actually passes.

At only 1.5 pages in length, the bill - entitled 'The UAP Transparency Act' - isn't exactly very large.

If it did happen to pass, however, it would force the President of the United States to not only order all government agencies to release all of their UFO-related documents to the public, but also to file additional reports every quarter to update both the House and Senate on the progress toward this goal.

Burchett himself is definitely no stranger to UFO transparency, having long championed the release of government files pertaining to the phenomenon.

"It's simple. They spend all this time telling us they don't exist, then release the files, dagnabbit," he said during an interview with Fox News.
"I don't want some crazy, fancy name for it, I just want them to do exactly what the bill is about."

Even to Burchett, however, the move is not necessarily about aliens, but about money.

"Like I said before, it's not about little green men or flying saucers," he told Fox News in April.

"It's about tens of millions of dollars that our federal government is spending on something that at least some of the members of the federal government say does not exist."

"Yet, they will not release all the files."

"Dagnabbit" is one of the more underused expressions.

And when this one ends up being a total disapointment like all the previous "full disclosures", then what?

It doesn't matter. No matter how many reports and/or evidence is released those interested in the information will not believe it is "everything." Especially if said reports deny altogether the existence of ufo phenomena.

It’s like Congress and the rest of the waffle house asking to release the JFK assassination report. It’s just not gonna happen, because it’s deemed nationally secret. Democracy has it’s limits

This might be interesting.  Of course the elements of the US Military who control the projects are not going to give up the information willingly.

I do not support nor will things that have to do with national security be released does that justify some credious true believer leap that UFOs are aliens or the gov is hiding aliens? Nope.

Stop talking like an 1800s prospector in a cartoon.
