Bizarre toilet-drinking competition is dubbed 'Game of Thrones'

According to reports, a firm in Stavropol, Russia recently hosted a real-life "Game of Thrones" that had absolutely nothing to do with dragons, swords or sorcery.

Instead, contestants were tasked with being the fastest to drink a non-alcoholic sparkling drink out of a toilet bowl with a large straw - a feat that was rewarded with a chance to compete in round two.The second round saw the remaining contestants attempt to sit on the toilet for the longest time possible, with the absolute winner securing a prize of 100,000 rubles ($1,276).

The absurd contest went viral on Russian social media while also drawing a great deal of criticism over its bizarre and demeaning nature.
