What does the future hold for Ufology ?

Image Credit: Brian Titus With sightings in decline in many areas and with an ongoing lack of evidence for extraterrestrial visitation despite decades of research and investigations, some UFO enthusiasts are beginning to step away from the phenomenon and give up the hunt. Many UFO groups have shut down in recent years and others are contemplating whether or not to continue. Could it be that the field of Ufology is on its way out ?

"The lack of compelling evidence beyond the pure anecdotal suggests that on the balance of probabilities that nothing is out there," said Dave Wood, chairman of the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena (Assap). "It is certainly a possibility that in ten years time, it will be a dead subject."
