Gigantic black holes discovered

Scientists have identified two black holes billions of times more massive than our sun.
The black holes are located in the center of distant galaxies, one of them has the mass of 9.7 billion suns while the second is even larger at 20 billion solar masses. Black holes are formed due to the collapse of a large star with a resulting mass so great that nothing, not even light itself can escape from it. The exact process that goes on inside a black hole is one of the most puzzling enigmas in astrophysics.Astrophysicists scanning the heavens have clocked a new cosmological record: the two biggest black holes ever detected — one about 10 billion times the mass of our sun and the second as much as twice that mass.
