An airline in Brazil changed one of its flight numbers after a psychic warned that the plane would crash.
Self-proclaimed psychic Jucelino Nobrega da Luz, who is credited with predicting the death of Princess Diana, caused alarm last week when he claimed that flight JJ3720 from Sao Paulo to Brasilia was going to develop engine problems and crash.
So many people took his warning seriously that the airline took the decision to actually change the flight number on the basis that they had received "indispensable information."
The flight later went ahead as scheduled and the plane landed without incident. It isn't clear however what difference changing the flight number would have made even if the prediction was correct.
The incident follows a similar scare that took place back in 2004 when a psychic insisted that there was a bomb aboard an American Airlines flight at Southwest Florida International Airport.
Despite a thorough search of the plane however no sign of an explosive device was ever found.
