Mysterious sphere falls from the sky over Mexico

The unidentified object reportedly landed in a tree after falling from the heavens over Veracruz on July 31st.
Yesterday it was reported that a large piece of space junk had landed in a field in Australia and now it turns out that something else had descended from the sky over the weekend - a solid sphere that fell over Mexico and that has since been generating quite a lot of discussion and debate on social media.

TV meteorologist Isidro Cano Luna has been leading efforts to get to the bottom of the mystery.

According to his Facebook post, the object is made of either metal or hard plastic and appears yellowish in color with what appears to be some sort of antenna sticking out of the top.

Despite the intrigue surrounding it, however, many social media users have been quick to dismiss it as little more than a piece of space junk from a defunct satellite or spacecraft.
"A specialized team at the secretary of the Navy of Mexico and/or the secretary of national defense needs to collect it and turn it in for special study," Isidro wrote.

He also warned locals not to touch it in case it turns out to be radioactive.

Obviously, the Greys are telepathic, but I can imagine their psychic voices dropping an octave or two.

It fell from the sky apparently. The original article i read had something about a slot in it an the contents only being revealed at the right time. They talked about it like it is a known process dealing with these and described but didn't mention the origin. They said a foreign agency already took it from the mexican navy like that day.

Yeah it was pretty obviously pure speculation on his part.

It wouldn't have been so well preserved if it was from space I think. It would have burned up in the atmosphere. Somebody suggested a blown away buoy. That sounds more likely I think.

Why? I assume that you don’t know what Starlink satellites look like.

Follow Up:  It wasn't taken away by the Navy or anyone else, because the object was part of a construction project in a totally different part of the country to where they claimed, and it is not at the top of a tree, but in overgrown bushes.  People have been taking pictures of it to prove it was a hoax.
