The Florida Republican recently expressed her views on the subject of UAPs in a podcast interview.
We've heard from a number of US politicians on the topic of UFOs over the years and it seems that, following recent whistleblower claims and formal congressional hearings, more of them than ever have been willing to come forward and make their own personal views public.
One of these is Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna - a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. As part of her role, she reportedly attended a classified hearing on the topic of UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) back in January.
Whatever it was she heard during the meeting it certainly seemed to have had an effect on her as she is now absolutely convinced that our planet is being visited by non-human entities.
Speaking to podcaster Grant Mitt, she stated that she was certain that UAPs are of "non-human origin" and could even contain "inter-dimensional beings".
She also claimed to have been "men in blacked", as she described it, in that intelligence agencies allegedly tried to interfere and even cancel the meeting.
"We coordinated the meeting," she said. "The Pentagon tried to initially cancel the first one."
"We got it back on the books. We show up there, and we get in, and the base commander tried to basically tell us that we didn't have authorized clearance to look into and speak to some of the witnesses."
"You don't tell Congress that we don't have the authorized clearance, especially members of House Armed Services, Oversight, and Judiciary."
You can view the interview below (the UAP discussion starts at 21:20).
So, did see disclose what she saw in the meeting to make her believe? Skeptics are good. Otherwise Bigfoot, The Lock Ness monster and many other things would be thought to exist by most people.
Argument from authority. Again. That you do not understand why this is a fallacy explains your continual illogic and unreason. That's not a feature, by the way.
I agree 100%. It's a total disservice to anyone who wants to get a full perspective about the topic and learn what those in government and the military are exposed to.

Unfortunately that perspective gets ignored in it's totality in favor of sensationalistic speculations. Only one side of military and government perspectives are ever given any credence in these sub forums. Any attempt to provide a contrasting opinion or answers from people in those positions is ignored or cast as part of some conspiracy or cover up. Mine included. When the the majority of items provided are from over 30 years ago and most have been explained/debunked, it becomes apparent that what is posted usually goes to solidifying one's priors. Establishing an echo chamber of needless or... [More]

My comment is directed in regard to the cherry picking of information and perspectives provided by government/military sources. @Liquid Gardens as well here. Because people who believe in UFO's have traditionally been lampooned and ostracized here at UM. It is true that more people have come on line that do have the belief that UFO's exist, such as @skyeagle409. but the rancor and debasing has not let up
And you could fill entire threads up with snide comments about skeptics and unbelievers just by skyeagle alone over the last freaking decade, although I'll grant he's an atypically prolific (repetitive) poster. There are plenty of UFO supporters here too to support each other, and I see no reason believers should be more sensitive than critics and skeptics, unless they don't have much confidence in the things they claim. Regardless from what I've seen believers give as good as they get as far as pointed criticism towards those who differ. Lampooned, maybe; ostracized, I disagree. I know ... [More]
and although that may be true, bickering is not the reason why I come in here, yet I frequently find myself having to deploy the deflector shields.

The briefing comments in the linked video only depicts individuals being upset they haven't been cleared for access to all items. Not once did any of them say they believe or were briefed anything related to extraterrestrial beings or craft.
