Hey Everyone! So, I'm new on this website and am really not a big believer in the paranormal. Don't get me wrong, it's interesting but only when it's on the TV. Anyway, something happened about half an hour ago that has made me reconsider my beliefs.
I was laying in bed, reading one of my fave books, and then all of a sudden, I hear this scuttling noise like a faint sound of a dog walking with it's nails hitting a wooden floor. Now, granted, I have a dog but she's old and is asleep right now. Also, to confuse me even more - the noise gravitated near my bedroom window (I thought it was rain, but it's a muggy, dry night so that's out of the question.) and then the noise travelled towards the top of my wardrobe next to my bed.
At this point I was slightly freaking out but thought maybe I was just tired, but something caught my eye towards my left and I looked to see what looked like a single, thick strand of cobweb but then it vanished before it hit the floor. I calmly as I could made my way to my older brothers room to tell him and he said to wake up my mum. (We're both wimps with things like this.) So I did and she came in my room with me with the light on and surprise surprise - nothing was there to explain it. She had her theory it may have been a moth that was trapped, which sounds like a reasonable cause IF there was a moth in my room, but there wasn't because we checked.
I would just like answers or any kind of explanation because I don't know what to make of it.
Maybe it was a moth that was trapped causing the noise.
Maybe the weird cobweb thing was a trick of light.
I don't know, but I'm freaked out and confused.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
