Crop circles appear in Eastern Washington

A series of mysterious crop circles have turned up in a wheat field near to the Grand Coulee dam.
The designs resemble a four-leaf clover and have flattened over an acre of wheat, however farm owners Cindy and Greg Geib don't seem to be too concerned by the intrusion. "You can't do anything other than laugh about it," said Cindy. "You just kind of roll with the theory it's aliens and you're special because aliens chose your spot."

While some of the flattened wheat can be salvaged, inevitably at least some of it will be lost. "We're trying to figure out how they got out there without breaking any of the wheat. It's hard to walk through the crunchy wheat and not knock it down," said Cindy. "At the same time, it's hard to think it's aliens. It's a bizarre thing to wrap your brain around."
Mysterious crop circles have appeared in an Eastern Washington wheat field - not far from the nation’s largest hydropower producer — but area farmers preparing for the summer’s harvest find the distraction more amusing than alarming.

Just because there are hoax's doesn't mean some of them aren't real. May just proves some jerks decided to try and copy a phenomenon. Doesn't mean that I am saying this one is real either. If these things aren't all hoax's someday we might find there is a logical explanation for them. If those those 'circles' show up in a forest, or on rock, I might start to doubt they are manmade. If it is indeed aliens who created these things, they should start creating things no human could copy. That's of course when they are as intelligent as many think they are, .

This post is late, but I happened to drive by that morning and saw the crop circle. Sorry, I didn't have my camera with me. Didn't the newspaper say they could not find any footprints in the field? Anyway, it looked cool from the highway. I had never seen one 'live' before - only pictures.

The first crop circle recorded is from the 1600s and that was just a plain circle. I doubt farmers did it to their own crops back then, couldn't some of our modern day circles be just as mysterious?
