Astronaut tweets 'UFO' from the space station

Credit: (PD) NASA Kelly, who recently achieved the world record for the longest time spent in space by a US astronaut, recorded an image of city lights over India and posted it to his Twitter account with the caption "Day 233. Once upon a #star over Southern India. #GoodNight from @space_station! #YearInSpace "

The anomalous object can be seen situated in the top right-hand corner of the frame.

Some Internet users have suggested that the cigar-shaped object, which appears to have lights at either end, is evidence that we are not alone and that Kelly had been aware of that fact.

Others, meanwhile, maintain that the 'UFO' is little more than a reflection on the window.
