The American singer will be hosting a new unscripted show all about investigating the UFO phenomenon.
Due to premiere on September 30th, the new Peacock series "Unidentified with Demi Lovato" will follow the singer, her best friend and her sister as they go on an expedition to visit UFO hotspots, eyewitnesses, alien abductees and UFO researchers in a quest to uncover the truth.
Lovato is certainly no stranger to the subject of UFOs and extraterrestrial visitation, having previously claimed to have contacted a UFO during a recent trip to Joshua Tree with Dr. Steven Greer.
"Over the past couple months I have dug deep into the science of consciousness and experienced not only peace and serenity like I've never known but I also have witnessed the most incredibly profound sightings both in the sky as well as feet away from me," she wrote at the time.
She has also been speaking to media outlets about the new show.
"I want people to have an open mind and heart and to realize that these beings are looking out for our best interest," she told Entertainment Weekly.
"There's nothing to fear. If they wanted to hurt us, they would've hurt us."
What, if anything, she discovers over the course of the show's four episodes remains to be seen.
"Unidentified with Demi Lovato is an unscripted series that follows Lovato and their skeptical best friend Matthew and their sister Dallas, as they search for the truth about the UFO phenomena," the official synopsis reads.
"While consulting with leading experts, Demi, Dallas and Matthew will investigate recent eyewitness encounters, uncover secret government reports, and conduct tests at known UFO hot spots."
Couple of things stand out. First is that the article has been changed a lot. The original article makes reference to the THEIR pronoun while this article changes it to HER. Secondly, what on earth is she smoking these days when she makes the following statement.
