What did the pilots witness that morning ? Image Credit: CC BY 4.0 John Christian Fjellestad
Back in January, multiple pilots witnessed mysterious lights in a triangular formation over the Canadian Prairies.
They say that pilots make for some of the best witnesses when it comes to UFO sightings and that's one of the reasons why this recent incident, which involved multiple pilots all seeing the same thing on the same morning, is so intriguing.
It all happened in the early hours of January 19th between 4:20am and 6:00am.
A 13-minute audio clip (listen below), which has been edited down from several hours of chatter, captures the conversation between the pilots and air traffic control officers concerning the phenomenon.
"I'm certainly no expert, but they're moving side-to-side and then going away from each other and then forming triangles," one of the pilots can be heard saying.
"Yeah, it's quite bizarre," another replied.
"There's around six of them just randomly in formation flying at a high altitude at 12 o'clock."
In total, the crews of four separate aircraft reported seeing the lights which were typically visible high above them at altitudes of up to 100,000ft - way beyond the range of any conventional vehicle.
In addition, two other air crews later reported seeing something similar during recent flights in the same area.
"Yeah, same thing too: movement all over, sometimes they make a triangle, sometimes they make a diamond and square," one pilot recalled. "They're bright and they just appear all over."
The sightings were later documented in Transport Canada's online aviation incident database.
You can listen to the pilot audio for yourself below.
The Air Force didn't scramble jets during the JAL 1628 UFO encounter or scrambled jets two months later in the general area when an identical UFO maneuvered around an U.S. Air Force KC-135. Perhaps, you forgot about the UFO encounter with that U.S. Air Force KC-135.
Now we have a number of tracking systems that have confirmed the objects were not swamp gas, meteors, comets, planets or even natural phenomenon because they tracked the objects as the interacted with military and civilian aircraft, which in many cases, were described by aircrews as structured craft.
They can't seem to accept that in many cases, UFO encounters were tracked by multiple radars, satellites and visually confirmed and documented as structured craft that clearly were not planets, comets, or meteors or anything to do with natural phenomenon.
From I've been able to ascertain, Transport Canada apparently never contacted the FAA or NORAD. Doing some more digging to see if there's a "why?" to the lack of cross talk between agencies for the alleged sightings.
Were you aware that NORAD tracks UFOs in space and within the atmosphere on a regular basis? 1975: STRATEGIC AIR COMMAND BASES UFO ALERT "Part I. Since 28 Oct. '75, numerous reports of suspicious objects have been received at the NORAD CU. Reliable military personnel at Loring AFB, Maine, Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan, Malmstrom AFB, Montana, Minot AFB, North Dakota, and Canadian Forces Station Falconbridge, Ontario, Canada, have visually sighted suspicious objects. "November 7, Malmstrom AFB, Montana. A Sabotage Alert Team described seeing a brightly glowing orange, football field-sized disc that i... [More]
Transport Canada apparently didn't have enough data beyond radio chatter to deem this an air traffic safety issue or noteworthy to contact sister agencies or NORAD. I guess it's a big nothing burger.
Imagine that, with more scrutiny and investigation the unknown and exotic becomes explainable. The wonders of not just blindly accepting stories and blurry photos/videos.?
