David Paton believes that he had an otherworldly encounter while driving home one night over 30 years ago.
The 51-year-old, who is now a member of a UFO group in the north-west of England, vividly recalls the moment he arrived home one night in 1993 after experiencing an unmistakable period of missing time.

He had been working at a restaurant in Kinross, Scotland at the time and had been returning from giving one of his colleagues a lift home when the incident happened.

"I went from Dunfermline to Kinross, which is about 10 miles, down a relatively new stretch of road," he told The Oldham Times. "I did this route every single night, but just this one night I came onto the road at exactly 11pm, I know because I looked at the time."

"It normally took me half an hour to get home, certainly no longer than half an hour. I did that every night, or at least five/six times a week, and I knew that road like the back of my hand."

"This one night I remember driving onto the road but I do not remember coming off it, I do not remember anything of that journey whatsoever and I didn't get home until 4am."
Upon arriving home, he was perplexed to find his mother worried sick about where he had been, despite having no recollection of anything actually happening to him.

"It was four in the morning, [my mother asked] 'where've you been?'" he recalled.

"Absolutely not a clue, genuinely for the life of me, three and a half/four hours missing from my life."

Paton now believes that he may have been abducted by aliens that night.

"Why? I have no idea, genuinely no idea," he said.

A strange event, and not neatly explained by the guy just getting hammered.  Who is getting blackout drunk, or drunk and hallucinating, and sobering up in 3-4 hours?  It would be odd to fabricate a rather conventional strange occurrence 30 years after-the-fact, but who knows.

Nobody knows what really happened except the person telling the story. It does stand to reason that some earthly explanation makes better logical sense.?   It is fun to watch some folks come in to have a moan and not provide anything of substance beyond that. Inconvenient truths don't make them any less truthful. That is unless someone can provide anything of hard evidence and proof something truly unexplainable has happened. So far the only thin unexplainable is the ETH believers' company line of believing every single account and dismissing any and all contrasting opinions. ?   Also, "UFO... [More]

A story with no recollections or evidences. And certainly not anything of entertainment value.
