CIA keeps global warming research classified

Those hoping to find out what the CIA has learned about climate change are going to be disappointed.
The CIA announced its intentions to research the geopolitical ramifications of climate change two years ago, but despite efforts to request details via the Freedom of Information Act the work has remained top secret. "As far as I know, they have not released any of their products or anything else,” said Jeffrey Richelson who initiated the request. “There was a statement announcing its creation and that has been pretty much it."
Two years ago, the Central Intelligence Agency announced it was creating a center to analyze the geopolitical ramifications of “phenomena such as desertification, rising sea levels, population shifts and heightened competition for natural resources. ”

Tell a Texan after the spring and summer of 2011 there's no global WARMing! He'll cram a bagful of icecubes up your @ss! I am a Texan. There is no global warming. Its called a bad summer. The last 2 were mild. Good grief.

The Earth's climate is definitely changing. Call it Global Warming, call it a weather anomaly, call it a mild winter or a bad summer. Call it whatever you want. You have to admit that the earth's climate has definitely changed a lot in the most recent seasons. I always said Long Island would get warmer and it has. Our winters here are much shorter. Sometimes the winters don't start here until December when it use to start in late October early November. We don't even have fall. We go straight from Spring to Summer to Winter. That probably has more to do with the statistics of record keeping (See Student's t.) than it does with climate, but at any rate... Changes over shorter time-periods are "weather." When you start seeing statistically significant changes in the thirty-year average, then you're seeing "climate change." Doug

Don't know about CIA this, that or the other, but a basic/intro Geology 101 course at any university will provide empirical proofs that there is notable precedent concerning the human factor for the CO2 aspect of global insulation, which is itself a contributor to the global warming process - and that this particular bout of warming is significantly greater than any that have been sampled pre-civ eras. It's "classified" because there's no irrefutable empirical evidence to suggest that global warming is man-made. Also, CO2 isn't really considered to be a true greenhouse gas.

Surely it must show that it's the reptilian aliens that assassinated JFK and built the pyramids that are causing the GW so that they don't have to live underground where it's warmer! I mean, that's the only logical explanation right, it couldn't be like Aquatus says and the CIA classify everything, that's just a wacky conspiracy theory!

Surely it must show that it's the reptilian aliens that assassinated JFK and built the pyramids that are causing the GW so that they don't have to live underground where it's warmer!
