UFO whistleblowers are being threatened, claims Luis Elizondo

The former head of the Pentagon's UFO investigation unit has claimed that whistleblowers like him aren't safe.
It can be dangerous speaking out about what the US government has been up to behind the scenes, as Luis Elizondo discovered for himself after resigning from the Pentagon's secretive Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program back in 2017.

Recently, he revealed that there had been threats against him as well as "several other whistleblowers formerly associated with the UAP effort for the US government."

Speaking on The Good Trouble Show back in May, he wanted to make it clear that if anything suspicious happened to him, people would know who was responsible.

"I would like to make this perfectly clear to the American people," he said. "I am not prone to accidents. I am not suicidal. I am not abusing drugs. I am not engaged in any illicit activities."

"If something happens to me or my family members in the future, you will know what happened."
Another prominent figure who has spoken out about this issue is Rep. Tim Burchett - a firm proponent of UFO disclosure who also happens to be a friend of Elizondo.

"There is whistleblower protection, but it's a joke, and we know it's a joke," he told Fox News.

"Lou is a dear friend of mine, and I take any threat against anybody seriously, especially against friends and somebody that has given so much to this country and to this issue."

"So, I'm very much aware of it, and I'm very much alarmed."

"I'm pursuing every avenue I can to get to the bottom of it."

False logic They can still get TV deals and speak at public events and on YouTube or on other platforms but that's why sold over them are getting threatened. These events are not mutually exclusive. Outspoken people have a much higher probability of getting harassed and threatened.

I don't recall many other whistleblowers who decide to void their right of confidentiality to go public. Then in the commission of selling their story, they end up saying they're being threatened without providing any details surrounding these claims (you know proof).. I have personally never had one person on intake ever waive their right to anonymity or confidentiality when making reports.  If you believe them good for you. Based on my professional experience Grusch's specific details and case doesn't wash.

I don't necessarily believe them. But they have got something to say. People could be threatened when they spill the beans on national security issues, military and technological top secret programs and so on. It's logical and expectable.

They've had their day on the hill and said it. All it was, was the same vague and unsupported comments that they have previously made. Ultimately, they wasted time.

Maybe the comments seem unsupported to you. On national security matters and other related issues you can't have full disclosure and access to all available info. Even if you had I doubt you would be able to release it (for many reasons)

Hum interesting a person signs a NDA then decades later makes claims that they are beaching that and spilling the beans about what they know about lol aliens being here. They make claims of getting threatened too all this with zero supporting evidence. I do believe that would fall under national security and if any threat to that the dolt would be hog tired gagged and hauled off to the hooscow they wouldnt be making a buck off duping credulous believers.

I was present in the chamber for part of the statements. I work inside the Pentagon currently. Thanks to my TS/SCI clearance I have been provided direct knowledge of what the intake complaint made by Mr. Grusch contained. Nothing that would seriously or gravely impact national security. it's all basically, "When I worked at this place, a guy I knew told me this stuff about aliens and craft." " No, I have no direct knowledge but I trust what this guy said a few years ago was truthful." That's it. There are no details because he has none to provide. From the DoD intelligence oversight perspectiv... [More]

As far as I understand, Elizondo's claim to have been director of AATIP is highly contended. I don't trust him.

As if this made up bs would lend credence to their silly claims. ?

You don't see them having much use for a communicable disease specialist.
