And yet that is exactly what I intend to do in the next few weeks as fears and concerns regarding the H1N1 flu vaccine reach a fevering pitch. In other words, despite my questions about the vaccine and its potential side effects, I may eventually allow a complete stranger to inject a foreign substance into my body – a substance, I may add, that actually contains trace amounts of the very disease I wish to avoid.
And this is where the dilemma starts.
