Pyromancy



A method of divination involving the use of fire. This was often practiced by the ancient Greeks who would set fire to a sacrifice and observe the behaviour of the flames. If the fire burned hot and fast then it was considered to be a good omen whereas a slow burn indicated a bad omen.
