Tony Ferguson had been visiting the historic vessel in Portsmouth when he caught something strange on film.
The 33-year-old, who hadn't seen anything unusual at the time, reported that he had felt like someone was following him as he wandered the upper chamber of Lord Nelson's famous flagship.

"I arrived at the HMS Victory first thing in the morning and I knew I had the whole upper chamber to myself but I kept feeling like someone was following me," he said.

After later reviewing the footage he had recorded however (viewable below), he noticed that in one shot, a strange figure wearing high-heeled boots could be seen stepping slowly out of view.
"She walked straight across the chamber and then disappeared through a solid wall so she must have gone through it," said Tony. "What is so strange is I didn't see anything at all with my own eyes."

The ship, which has served as a museum since 1922, is no stranger to ghost stories.

"The HMS Victory is known for its hauntings and lots of people have said they've seen Admiral Nelson and his wife over the years," said Tony.

"The upper chamber would have been an area reserved for the highest-ranking officers so it's where Nelson and his wife would have spent most their time together."

I don't think that is a good this to say.      I could add that there is a "certain amount of ignorance" when someone believes anything they hear about.   I don't really think that way except for certain things.   One IS ignorant if they believe the flat Earth theory.   One is ignorant if they believe the chemtrail conspiracy theory.  One is ignorant if they don't believe the global temps are rising.  Belief in ghosts is not ignorant in my opinion.   However I don't think they exist.

I understand where you are coming from.   It's all good.  "The paranormal there is no clear evidence but the number of experiences by a huge number of people is hard to ignore." I disagree with this.   Too many things come into play.   Mind tricks, hoaxes and mis-identifications to name a few.  Papa has said before that he believes in bigfoot and the reason it has not been found is because it is an inter-dimensional being.  I think that is just finding a way to make what you believe to be true.   I could claim the Loch Ness monster, unicorns and leprechauns are real, but they are... In my experience the people who reject science and scientists are usually people who do not understand science or are not scientists. Science and belief are different. Science is objective knowledge based on reproducible and demonstrable proof; a truth based on empirical evidence. Belief is just a subjective choice to accept something based on blind faith and without any evidence. As a scientists I 'know' for a fact air is made up of oxygen and nitrogen. I don't 'know' for a fact that there are such things as ghosts, fairies or Bigfoot.

And as much proof of it being a living person.

Yes. But infinitely more plausible than the other two options.

You've got just as much proof that it's a person- i.e. none.

And you have no proof that the upsidedown cup on the table in front of me isn't hiding a fire breathing dragon. When I lift it up do you think I'll get burned?

Are hi heels common for ghosts caught on camera? The allegedly accidental filming of the ghost occur while the camera insisted a longer amount of time to film a single spot. Noticeable is the fact that after the ghost dissapearnce the same cameraman  moved uninterested to 180 degrees. Bad director I may say

It's casting a shadow along the floor. More than that, it looks like it may even be casting a slight 'reflection' off the floor. I love a great ghost story and i might even be open minded to a few of them. But i feel if i allow myself to believe this particular story, and this particular guy, i would be insulting my own intelligence. He's after attention from the ghost hunting community and trying to establish himself. It's a SETUP.
