'Batman' arrested for obstructing police

Image Credit: CC 2.0 Syed Abdul Khaliq Mark Wayne Williams decided to take it upon himself to fulfill the role of the Caped Crusader a little too literally when he turned up at a crime scene in Michigan over the weekend in full costume. Officers had been using sniffer dogs to track down a suspect in the area and weren't too appreciative when Williams aka Batman refused to leave. "He wouldn't clear the scene, and we had a canine out there and he kept screwing up the scent," said Sgt. Jeff Gorno. "He said he wanted to help us look for the driver."

Williams was eventually picked up for obstructing a police investigation and resisting arrest.
