39-year-old Kristy Manzanares was killed on Tuesday during a murder mystery dinner show on a cruise ship.
Passengers who had been enjoying a murder mystery theater show aboard the Emerald Princess last week were shocked to discover that there had actually been a real-life murder taking place on the vessel at exactly the same time.

So convincing was the performance in fact that announcements requesting assistance from emergency medical and security teams had been initially dismissed as part of the show.
Sadly however, it turned out that Kristy Manzanares had lost her life that night at the hands of her husband, Kenneth Manzanares, following what was described as a "domestic dispute".

"Because they were doing a murder mystery theater about death on a cruise ship, most people thought it was just part of the dramatic effect of what they were doing," said passenger Vic Simpson.

The murder victim's husband, who later claimed that he killed his wife because she 'wouldn't stop laughing at him', is now facing life imprisonment.

I read about this. The husband killed the wife and blood was everywhere in the cabin. Supposedly when the stewart asked why, the man said she just kept laughing at him and would not stop. Talk about the wrong time to find humor in a situation... lesson, if you are in an arguement with someone... Do not laugh in their face for they are libel to go all nuts and literally gut you where you stand. I need to practice what I preach.

Well no mystery about this one, just bad timing on his part, fatal timing for the wifes part, awkward timing for the cruise staff and exciting timing for the rest of the passengers.

All it needed was Angela Lansbury to make the story complete.

The husband's punishment should be him having to watch his dead wife laugh at him all day.  I guess that would fall under cruel and unusual, but fitting.  Maybe the guy will go completely bonkers and off himself, saving the tax payers money.
